Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Fisika Berbasis LMS Canvas Materi Hukum Gravitasi Newton SMAN 2 Tondano

Abstract
This study aims to develop a feasible, effective, and practical e-learning media based on the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) for Newton's Law of Gravity. Utilizing the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), the research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano, involving experimental and control groups of 22 students each. The results indicated a media feasibility rate of 80% (high category). Effectiveness was demonstrated by the experimental group's improved learning outcomes, achieving an average score of 85.59, which significantly outperformed the control group's average of 69.50. Practicality reached 82.8% based on student responses and 94% from teacher feedback. Theoretically, this research strengthens LMS integration in overcoming physics concept abstractions and provides empirical support for the 4D model. Practically, Canvas LMS shifts learning towards a student-centered orientation through interactive features and access flexibility. For schools, this media offers a concrete solution for accelerating administrative digitalization and enhancing instructional quality. Thus, Canvas LMS is proven to be highly feasible and effective as an alternative digital learning medium.
