Abstract

The focus of this research is to describe the science process and cognitive learning outcomes of temperature and heat material before and after the application of the InSTAD learning model of class XI SMAN 7 Gowa and to analyze the science process and cognitive learning outcomes of temperature and heat material before and after the application of the InSTAD learning model of class XI SMAN 7 Gowa. Research This research uses quantitative research using experimental methodology. Kasiram stated that experimental research aims to ensure the level of purity or truth of the influence of variable X on variable Y. Based on the results of the Mann-Whitney non-parametric statistical test, this value indicates that there is a statistically significant difference between the pretest score and the posttest score on science process skills as well as cognitive learning outcomes. The results of the Mann-Whitney non-parametric statistical test, obtained a significance value.
