Penerapan Model PjBL Berbasis Podcast Terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi dan Pemahaman Konsep Siswa

Abstract
This study was motivated by the low communication skills and conceptual understanding of 10th grade students at SMAN 11 Maros. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in communication skills and conceptual understanding of 10th grade students at SMA Negeri 11 Maros on renewable energy material before and after the implementation of the Podcast-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. This research is an experiment with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research population involved 179 tenth-grade students spread across five classes, and the research sample was class X-5, which consisted of 35 students. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the average pre-test score for communication skills was 63.57 and for conceptual understanding was 37.71 (low category). After the treatment, the post-test scores increased, with the average score for communication skills becoming 86.66 and for conceptual understanding 71.43. It can be concluded that there was an increase in students' communication skills and concept comprehension after using the Podcast-based Project Based Learning model. As a reference for further research, it is recommended that this innovation be developed by expanding the sample coverage and variety of digital media to enrich the literature on project-based education transformation.
