Electronic Filing
Jurnal FisTa: Fisika dan Terapannya is committed to maintaining the electronic archiving, preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content. Electronic filing supports the long-term availability of scientific publications and ensures that published articles and their associated records remain identifiable and accessible.
The journal's electronic filing policy covers published articles, journal issues, publication files, bibliographic metadata, and supplementary materials, where available.
1. Electronic Archiving through Open Journal Systems (OJS)
Jurnal FisTa uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) as its electronic journal management and publishing platform. Published articles, journal issues, publication files, and associated bibliographic information are organized and made accessible through the journal's official website.
The electronic archive maintains the publication record according to the journal's volume, issue, and publication year. Each published article is accessible through its article landing page, which provides bibliographic information and access to the published manuscript.
The editorial team and publisher are responsible for supporting the continuity of electronic publication records and maintaining appropriate procedures for data protection, backup, and recovery.
2. LOCKSS and CLOCKSS Support
The journal's OJS platform provides technical support for publisher manifests associated with LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe).
These mechanisms are designed to facilitate the identification and potential collection of published scholarly content by participating digital preservation services.
The availability of publisher manifests does not, by itself, indicate active membership in a preservation network or confirm that published content has been successfully deposited in an external preservation service.
Participation in such services requires compliance with the applicable technical procedures, registration requirements, and preservation arrangements.
3. Preservation of Published Articles and Metadata
Jurnal FisTa is committed to maintaining accurate and accessible records of its published scientific articles. Electronic publication records include, where applicable:
- Published article files and journal issues.
- Article titles, abstracts, and keywords.
- Author names and institutional affiliations.
- Publication dates, volume numbers, issue numbers, and page ranges.
- Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), where assigned.
- Supplementary research materials associated with published articles, where available.
Bibliographic metadata and persistent identifiers support the identification, discoverability, and citation of scholarly publications.
DOI registration and metadata dissemination complement electronic archiving but do not replace the preservation of full-text articles and associated publication files.
4. Author Self-Archiving
Authors are permitted to archive and share the published versions of their articles through institutional repositories, personal academic websites, or other appropriate scholarly repositories, in accordance with the journal's copyright and licensing policy.
Copyright remains with the respective author(s). Articles published in Jurnal FisTa are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
When depositing or sharing an article, authors are encouraged to provide complete bibliographic information, acknowledge the original publication in Jurnal FisTa, and include the article's DOI when available.
5. Integrity of Electronic Publication Records
Jurnal FisTa is committed to preserving the integrity and traceability of its scholarly publication records.
When a published article requires correction, an expression of concern, or retraction, the editorial team will take appropriate action in accordance with the journal's publication ethics and editorial policies.
Editorial notices should clearly identify the affected article and explain the nature of the action taken. Where appropriate, the original publication record will remain accessible with a clear indication of its updated publication status.
6. Continuity of Access and Digital Preservation
The publisher and editorial team recognize the importance of maintaining continued access to published articles and their bibliographic records.
The journal seeks to strengthen electronic preservation through appropriate technical and institutional arrangements, including data protection, backup and recovery procedures, and the development of suitable long-term preservation mechanisms.
The journal may pursue participation in recognized digital preservation services, including LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, or other appropriate preservation networks, subject to their requirements and verification procedures.
In the event of changes to the journal's publishing platform or organizational management, the publisher will seek to preserve existing publication records and maintain access to previously published scholarly content.
